Always wondered what’s lurking behind trees when walking in the woods in the middle of a moonless night?

The Night Vision Digital Video Camera frees up your periph so you can see and record danger coming your way! Get footage of your demise at the hands of a deadly ninja, or laugh when you realize that the face of Death is really your neighbor’s half-wit Poodle. This camera does daylight recording and switches to infrared illumination at night, allowing you to see up to 40 feet in pitch blackness.

Designed for geeks ages 8 and up, it’s great for late night hang outs, camping, midnight hide-n-seek, and just about anything else you’d want to record in the dark. (Imagination sold separately.) With a 2GB memory card, you can store up to 2 hours of night vision video before transferring it to your computer to edit with the included software.

When retro catches up with current technology.

Anyone who grew up in the 80s will tell you how cool the Duck Hunter video game was (especially when you got to use that garishly orange computer gun). Well now you can relive the fun in the noughties with Duck Hunter, the indoor flying duck hunt game. The game consists of an autonomous flying duck, complete with flapping wings (the technical term ornithopter) and an infra-red gun, complete with bullet sound effects – you can even cock it like a real hunting gun.

The duck flies randomly around the room (how randomly depends on whether you’ve set it up for a straight or circular flight pattern) for up to 40 seconds or until you’ve shot it 3 times. It doesn’t need mains power, so as long as you’ve got fresh batteries the Duck Hunter is good to go in as little as ten seconds- just connect it to the charging dock on the gun for a quick burst and you’re ready to go hunting. It’s all the fun of hunting in the comfort of your own home.
