Everyone made it nicely into the new year? This was probably first day of New Year’s Eve to welcome the new year without a firework – NONE! Secretly I was hoping there was still going to be one but I had to be happy with couple of grapes I had to force down my throat! To be honest I spit out the first one and skipped right to the Cava !

But Valencia made up for the missing fireworks and started the new year with the biggest Mascleta (Sound Fireworks). Which got rid of my hangover! Watch the video here.

Movie fans and freaks perk your ears. On Criticker (your favorite movie recommendation site) we launched a sweet new feature. We introduced Movie Collections on Christmas Eve (which was a mistake since there were still tons of bugs) but response by our users were overwhelming.

Here couple of interesting collections:

The last couple of days I have been thinking on how to thank Random Good Stuff supporters better. I tried Link Friday – Crazy Story Friday – Twitter Friday but all options took either too long or were not satisfying!

Let’s try to make everyone happy with reddit.

So I started now a RGS Friends Reddit. There I will keep track of supporting sites (fellow bloggers feel free to email me your posts with had the RGS credit url) and their blog posts I like. So if I add your story link (a real – full one – no tinyurl! A real link with a real anchor text. Which is very attractive to Google) on that reddit page your site will show up there and also instantly on the right Random Good Stuff sidebar within a widget – which looks like this:

This should send you some traffic that very moment!

Now readers you come in – keep an eye on that widget and check out the links. I promise that I will only link to cool posts and those links will be really worth to click on. And as you can see you can vote stories down or up and control who will be on the Reddit Friday post.

On Fridays I will from now on post a cool image, give an update on my personal life and or our other websites and publish 2 Top Lists.

The first one will be the top voted stories of RGS supporters from the past week. And it is important that there are votes because there is only space for 20 links and only the ones with the most votes will make it on that list.

AND I will post a top RGS Reddit featuring the top stories of all times.

Bloggers – yes you can vote on your own stories or encourage others to vote for yours.

The other great thing is that those widgets will be automatically up to date so even an older Reddit Friday post will display the current results so over time those widgets will send more and more traffic.

Oh – do I miss my Thanksgiving Dinners in the US. We have our Turkey tomorrow. We got invited to have thanksgiving with a couple of foreigners we met here in Valencia. Can’t wait to stuff myself. Did I mention before that on my first Thanksgiving I ate so much that I had to stop the car in the middle of Harvard SQ to puke into a trash can? That was when I fell in love with this tradition. !

Hope you all had a great time with your friends and families and if you are not an American, you should pick up the tradition .. because of the pies … hmmmm the pies.

I took the picture above yesterday morning and was using some camera movement and zooming to create this spiritual effect. Thinking of getting a huge print of it to hang it up somewhere.

When horses go wild you should not try to stop them. Hooves on a head could cause the skull to break. And once your head is cracked open you are hooked. There is no way to turn back to uncracked skull times. This also applies to car rides without buckling up and a taste of cold turkey with a sprinkle of cat. Especially when you are in a hurry to work your abs in a nearby GYM. But this makes me think what cool I should wish myself for Christmas. Do you feel the breeze coming in? What an event full week – I hope you all had an awesome Halloween. As you can see, I came up with a cheap costume ARRRRG!

Indian Summer on the East Coast is just so beautiful I love it – taking a walk in the forest with red, yellow leaves falling on you. This makes you honor mother earth and nature. I just want to take out a canvas and starting to paint like Bob Ross or just kicking back on a blanket with some French cheese and wine. All this nature makes me think how the US was when the Indians were still spread all over the lands and wolves howling at the moon. Geese flying over lakes, we can’t forget that. Slap in my face! Stop being so romantic <-NSFW just go to a casino and win some money for some bling.
