No problem my lady anything which makes your world go around – but one thing I would like to add, fine these rats are cute but I would like to see you running calling an exterminator when your in heat female house rats are attracting male wild rats from some lovely love time. An other thought which crossed my mind – rats are supposed to be super smart, wondering if you could house train them. That poop in the bed not so inviting.

This will be my last post about the recent trip to the US. In case you missed my previous Philadelphia posts/pics:

My flight back to Spain left from JFK – so I took the Megabus from Philly to NYC (which incredible) and thought I just could have my suitcase locked at Penn Station or one of the nearby hotels.

NOPE!

I was running around like a maniac to get rid of my suitcase – to get some great lunch, do some pictures taking, shopping (Spain just doesn’t have my sizes) etc.

After 1 1/2 hours I gave up – it’s just ridiculous  and very very travel unfriendly! I was shocked. I get the whole post 911 thing. But … I can check-in my suitcase and fly with it. Why not scan my suitcase before you lock it? And just asking for a luggage room makes you feel like a terrorist. HATED IT!

So I went my suitcase Madangsui for some awesome Korean BBQ ( I’m so hooked now after Kimchi Princess in Berlin) see pictures below –then sat around Herald Sq. for some people watching and then head to JFK to sit around the airport for 8 hours. HAHAHA – that was so much fun and pretty much I expected to spend my 7 hours in the city.

Talking of not very traveler friendly – It’s just weird there is no direct public train direction from Manhattan to JFK!!!

Here my impressions:

During the bus sequence ( going through the Lincoln tunnel) you can hear this woman talk – she was unbelievable, she talked during the whole bus ride without taking one breath.

I have taking the Megabus before from Chicago to Indianapolis and loved it. Right now I’m sitting in their new Double Decker bus passing downtown Philadelphia with free Wifi heading to NYC. This is so awesome and best thing is … I only paid $3 for this trip.

In case you have ever wondered if you should take the Megabus … here is the answer: YES! It’s pretty comfortable, clean, fast (even though it takes 30 minutes longer than the Amtrak to get from Philly to NYC) but all together I think Megabus is the better travel option.

And no … megabus has not paid me to write all this – I’m just a fan :)

I think it’s time for a brand new super duper skyscraper. When I was flying via Newark I got a good look of the Manhattan skyline and I must say without the Twin towers something is missing.

So, what kind of person are you? Feel like going back 50 years or rather want to see what’s going on in 50?

Never experienced Coney Island on a busy day. I always went in the winter time or when it was closed.
