<p>The car uses an automatic transmission and independent suspension for a smooth ride while the wide 71 1/4&quot; wheelbase provides safe turning in all conditions. Four disc brakes provide confident stops. The body frame is durable steel and the front and rear fenders are injection molded plastic&#8211;door panels are open to the air. A steel roll cage spanning the passenger area secures a removable canvas rag top.</p>
