We all sometimes like to pretend household items are racing cars. Well, now you really can. The RC Driving Tissue Box is one of the coolest developments in RC products for a long time. Fit your box of tissues inside and take them for a spin. And this isn’t just for larking around – it could hold a real use for people desperate to wipe their nose but out of reach of the tissue box! Ideal as a present for boys big and small, race your tissues around the house with this simple-looking but speedy vehicle.

Probably the coolest remote controlled motorcycle out there.

We’ve always had a soft spot for R/C motorcycles… the problem is training wheels. Nothing looks worse than a R/C motorcycle with two tiny wheels on the bottom to keep it from falling over. It’s an insult to R/C toys everywhere. But luckily this 1:12 scale R/C Ducati Racing Motorcycle needs no extra help to balance and looks sharp with intricate detail and racing logos. It features fully proportional digital control with working suspension.

However this Ducati’s main claim to fame is an animated rider who turns his head and leans into each turn. Not simply cosmetic, the weight of the rider actually causes the bike to lean and go into a turn. It’s great stuff and looks awesome zipping across your office parking lot.

This little R/C mini hover let’s beat my heart higher. It’s micro mega mini geeky.

when these palm-size hovercrafts appeared in Japan we knew we needed to book over to Tokyo faster than a speeding bullet train and collect some for our loyal geek pals stateside. The mini Hover-Q can skate effortlessly across your desk kept aloft by a cushion of air.

You control the forward speed and right/left turns. In typical hovercraft fashion the control is a bit like playing asteroids… thrust, over-compensate and then turn to reverse-thrust and correct. You’ll be surprised how fast the Hover Q can go at full throttle so you’ll either need to keep a gentle touch on the speed control or find a large smooth area… like the English Channel.
