Las week we went for our first long road trip since we have been on Sicily. We went to the fantastic town of Syracuse stayed over night and then went to the baroque gem Noto. We only have been gone out of Palermo for 36 hours but the amount of things we saw ( and ate ) was incredible. And while exploring Syracuse we noticed these crafted chocolate tools in a window display and thought we have to share this with you. YUMM!

Squeeze up to 35% more out of your household supplies with this forearm and time-saving device designed to make tubes good to the last drop. Squeezing out the last bit of toothpaste can be an unwelcome, time-consuming endeavor, especially when you’re running late — and having to ditch even milligrams of pricey glue can feel wasteful. But, with the Tube-Wringer®, squeezing that last drop out is a cinch, literally. Just secure the tube between the aluminum rollers and turn the steel handle to compress. It’s simple, sturdy and effective. Ideal for everyday use. Made in the USA.

Can’t wait – Christmas in Savannah – no snow, great old houses covered in blinking LEDs (I hope). And making sure that there can be even more Christmas lights installed in a shorter time for more Christmas Time Blinky LED pleasures … please consider this vest.

Designed and used by holiday lighting professionals, this utility vest minimizes trips up and down a ladder when hanging Christmas decorations. A specially designed storage pack on the back stows up to 20 strands of lights that stay out of the way, but remain at the fingertips when needed. Where other tool belts and aprons have yawning pockets that risk spilling their contents, these storage compartments come with zippers–one even has an embedded spring that clamps shut after withdrawing your hand.

Strategically placed exterior pockets provide space for tools, a pen, and a two-way radio, while a lined, water-resistant compartment holds a phone or MP3 player. By enabling faster set up, the vest facilitates the creation of elaborate seasonal displays, as well as their prompt dismantling, preventing scornful backlash from neighbors and homeowner’s associations. Reflective strips increase the wearer’s visibility during nighttime work. Made of weather-resistant, heavy-duty polyester.

Japan is of course a place with a strong culture of calligraphy so it’s no surprises that it has given birth to some fantastic innovations in brushes. The Popcorn Yubi Fude is a "finger brush" in a funky yellow design that has proved a huge hit for its makers, selling 6,000 units in its first month of release alone!

You can slip the brush onto your finger tip and then practice your strokes, be that real calligraphy, decoration or just painting in inks. Even better, you can wear multiple brushes on different fingers at the same time and switch brushes easily with differently sized holders.
