To decide to pick Palermo in Sicily for our next travel blog destination was probably a very bad idea. I was able to hold my weight probably pretty well during our first year of travel (hmm Argentinian Steaks!) but I think I just give up while in Palermo. One of the specialties are fried snacks. Yeah, right snack – I mean full meals. In the picture above you don’t see an orange. It’s actually a fried, breaded rice ball stuffed with cheese and meat sauce called Arancini.
