Play Star Wars at your desk!
R2-D2 gizmos are all the rage at the mo. So much so, we're rapidly running out of droid-related Star Wars quips. And that's hardly surprising because the galaxy's greatest do-it-all dustbin communicates in bleeps and chirrups.
But who gives a bleep about that when you've got a mini version of Artoo trundling around your desk? Not us, especially when you can control him via a special wristwatch transmitter!

The geek-tastic R2-D2 Whizzwatch is a timepiece with a difference because R2-D2 is attached to its strap. Simply unclip the legendary astromech droid, pop him on your desk and use the buttons on the watch to move him around. Brilliant if you're bored at work, it really is the gift you're looking for. Especially if the recipient is a Star Wars nut. And let's face it, who isn't.

Although not quite as informative as everyone's favourite overweight glob of grease, the watch itself has buttons to help you scroll through a variety of digital readouts, and you can switch between 12/24 hour displays. It's even finished in highly Artoo-esque blue and white, so it will complement your blue Power Ranger outfit and Mr Spock uniform perfectly. What us, geeky?

True, you might be unable to do up your cufflinks wearing an R2-D2 Whizzwatch but the pros far outweigh the cons. Even Jay-Z and Beckham have binned their bling and ordered a few of these incredibly entertaining gadgets. Okay, they haven't. But they should because strapping an R/C Artoo to your wrist is infinitely more ridiculous, eye-catching and, some might say, ironic, than wearing some jewel-encrusted, Liberace-ish eyesore. It's cheaper too. Beeepbooobeep!
